Dr. Jian Tao is Senior Process Engineer and Licensing Manager at Shell Coal Gasification China. He notably leads the Gasification commercial team in Beijing.

Dr. Jiang started his career with Sinopec Engineering Incorporation (SEI) from 1997 to 2000. Since then within the Shell Group, he has served as senior process engineer and process control team leader in Shell China Coal Gasification Service Center since 2004. As such, he has provided technical service, operator training and site support for the commissioning and startup of 11 coal gasification projects in the past five years in China.
