David Gu is President of Choren Gasification Technology China

Mr. Gu graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University and started his career as Management Trainee of Procter&Gamble. After he got Msc. in Management at Peking University., he joined Shell Gas and Power and served in varied roles in M&A and Business Development, including BD Manager of Shell Coal Gasification Process (SCGP) licensing team. In 2005 he joined newly born GSP Gasification Technology Co. Ltd. (A Siemens and Shenhua joint venture) as Chief Operating Officer. He and his team introduced GSP gasification technology into China and made it one of the leading gasification technologies in China from scratch.
